Brand NC Video Contest

Brand NC Video Contest

We’re happy to announce that we received a runner’s up award for our entry to the 2014 Brand NC Video Contest. The contest posed the question: What Does NC Stand For? For us, the answer was simple — outdoor adventure. Whether having an epic adventure weekend with our best friends or simply getting out after work for an evening ride, the mountains of North Carolina have always held a special place in our hearts. We got our start shooting outdoor adventure sports and to this day it is still our favorite subject to film. We paid homage to some of the things we love most about North Carolina in this video and highlighted some of the things that make North Carolina such an incredibly beautiful place to call home.

Our short film, along with other projects submitted during the contest, will be hitting the road over the course of the next few months as part of a statewide tour to showcase the State’s efforts to highlight some of the various ways that the participants in this contest felt were good options when branding the state to visitors.

What does North Carolina stand for? For us, North Carolina represents beautiful forests, great long range mountain views and beautiful streams and rivers. The state is ground zero for some of the greatest outdoor recreation activities in the entire country and we believe that in addition to the great people who call the state home, the wealth of outdoor activities is what makes North Carolina such a great place. When we think about North Carolina, what comes to mind are the very things that draw thousands of visitors each year to come and play. The great outdoors are part of what makes North Carolina, North Carolina!
