Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy Greenway Video

We recently worked with the Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy on a video project highlighting the CMLC’s ongoing efforts to expand greenways in western North Carolina. The CMLC is a local nonprofit that partners with landowners and organizations to protect land and water resources, is dedicated to saving the places we all love, and their mission is to work to permanently conserve and actively care for an ever-growing regional network of significant farm, forest, park and natural lands. Since 1994, CMLC has conserved more than 27,000 acres in Henderson, Transylvania, and surrounding counties in western North Carolina.

CMLC not only protects mountain land, safeguards clean drinking water, and preserves rural farmland, we also facilitate the creation of public parks, trails, and greenspaces. During the past 10+ years, CMLC, the Town of Fletcher, private landowners, non-profit organizations, and funders worked cooperatively to create the Fletcher Community Park Greenway and continually make an effort to restore the surrounding natural areas.

In the Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy video, we wanted to highlight both the scenic beauty of the expanded greenway, as well as the recreational opportunities the greenway provides.
